Soft light colour with green reflections. Extremely addictive, flower aromatics, the omnipresent smell of fresh grapes. The skeleton is made of dominant acids, muscles are formed by soft attractive sugar.

Noria? Many of you will surely ask what is this wine about? So you should know that it was created in Slovakia by new breeding in 1974. That happened in the former Vineyard and Winery Research Institute in Veľký Krtíš, and even more precisely in the branch Opatovská Nová Ves. Its home is Slovakia with its typical climatic conditions. This is why Noria is a variety we can be rightly proud of.
We should be grateful to Mrs Foltánová, a Slovak breeder, who crossed Rheinriesling with an old French variety Semillion. Noria is clearly ranked among the highest quality varieties, it prevails Rheinriesling in many attributes. Wines made of it are harmonic with light acids and aroma rather resembling Semillion.
The process of a wine verification in practice takes 30 years, therefore, Noria was officially registered only in 2002. You can bet that the waiting was worth it! You should definitely try it and enjoy sips full of meadow flowers and fresh fruits.
